Most B2B companies have a CRM. The problem is that nobody uses it consistently. Reps log what they feel like, when they feel like it. Marketing sends leads into limbo. Leadership tries to forecast on data it cannot rely on.
The outcome is always the same: a tool you pay for that informs no decision. A pipeline that exists on paper but not in reality. And a team working on instinct when it could be working on a system.
The problem is not the CRM. It is the absence of an architecture able to turn the CRM into a real operating system.
If the company's pipeline depends on who remembers to update the CRM, there is no system. There is an expensive contact list.
